Kicking off its 16th year, the Vans Warped Tour is the longest continuous Summer Tour. Having begun as a showcase for punk rock music, the summer tour has evolved and expanded to cross genres. This is a tour that has definitely made a career of many bands and even though the days are long and hot and many times dusty, it's a great way for the bands and fans of the bands to commune.

This summer's lineup includes long time Warped Alums such as Reel Big Fish, Pennywise (who are debuting their new singer), as well as Face to Face, The Bouncing Souls and The Casualties. If that doesn't get you packed in your car headed to a venue near by maybe Bring Me the Horizon will. Or are you more in Anarbor, Enter Shikari, The Dillinger Escape Plan or The All American Rejects. Don't forget there is Sum 41 and Andrew WK and on select dates Everclear, Street Sweeper Social Club and Anti Flag.

Everyone has their favorite must sees but this is a tour where you can see those plus find that new favorite band. Maybe they are playing just prior to your favorite or maybe just after. Who knows but with the multiple stages and the 40+ bands playing, I'm sure you will find something new to love.

I know I'm looking forward to seeing AM Taxi, After Midnight Project, Bring Me the Horizon, Pierce the Veil, Eyes Set to Kill and of course The All American Rejects. Each summer I also find a new band to love. So come on out to a stop on the tour. Check out your favorites and also find a new favorite. It's Summertime. Hot weather, sunny days and great music! What more could we ask for..
