The 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival

In its third year of existance, the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Tour brings out bands on the other side of the spectrum as the Van Warped Tour. Here you will find headliners Korn and Rob Zombie on the main stage while Hatebreed and Atreyu headline the two side stages.

The tour which is produced by Rockstar Taste of Chaos organizer John Reese, Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and Creative Artists Agency will hit 24 cities during the months of July and August.

Along with the headliners previously mentioned, the main stage fills in with Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch. The side stages also feature Norma Jean, In This Moment and 3 Inches of Blood on the Silver Stage (previously known as the Hot Topic Stage) with Atreyu and Chimaira, Shadows Fall and Winds of Plague filling in the Jagermeister Stage with Hatebreed.

Look to hear some new Korn music as they are out on tour prior to the release of their 9th studio album. Also, Korn early on decided to boycott BP oil after the diasterous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of Korn commented, "We need to do our part to let BP know there are consequences for causing something like this. We want to send a message to corporations like BP so that they will take more preventative measures in the future." The band also encouraged other bands on the Mayhem tour to join them which to lead to tour founder Kevin Lyman decideding that the entire festival would not be using BP oil. In a press release, Lyman stated that he is, "encouraging everyone we deal with to find alternative ways to get down the road this summer."
